FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
PART-TIME Exciting part-time op for an FNP or PA with to work within a medical home model. In this role you will be responsible for managing patients within a private practice/clinic arena. Twenty hours a week, no benefits, 2.5 days or five four-hour days. You will be assisting delivery of health care and patient care management. Duties include: medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments, monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting fellow clinicians, and counseling and educating patients on a broad variety of medical conditions and management of these conditions. In this role you will be collaborating with the head physician. Training will involve:
Will learn to use the machine controllers to load correct shaping programs, and enter job parameters, and program offsets
Selection of the correct fixtures and cutting tools
Glass preparation – safe handling, cleaning, inspection, correct substrate orientation, mounting substrate upon fixture
Inspection will include using micrometers or calipers to measure part sizes, and based upon these results, adjust the process parameters as needed to yield correctly sized parts. Required ability and skills:

This is a temp to hire position at a growing fortune 150 company in Rochester area. Any optics experience or CNC machine operation or other Machine operation experience will be considered.
The prospective candidate will be trained in operation of CNC mills, sectioning saw, and dicing machine.
Training will involve:
Will learn to use the machine controllers to load correct shaping programs, and enter job parameters, and program offsets
Selection of the correct fixtures and cutting tools
Glass preparation – safe handling, cleaning, inspection, correct substrate orientation, mounting substrate upon fixture
Inspection will include using micrometers or calipers to measure part sizes, and based upon these results, adjust the process parameters as needed to yield correctly sized parts. Required ability and skills:
Must have previous Machine Operation or Optics experience.
Strong work ethic
Able to learn new skills and job functions
Works well in a team environment
Safety First, follows standard processes, observes Personal Protective Equipment requirements
Visual acuity and the ability to distinguish chromatic colors Organized and focused. Must be able coordinate running different jobs in two machines while maintaining proper job identity throughout the shaping processes (includes job preparation, shaping, clean-up, computer systems updates and moving jobs to next process)
Computer literate; required to accurately use the machine controllers, production control systems, and desktop PC applications.
Proficient mathematics skills – add, subtract, multiply and divide
Maintains a 5-S clean and organized work station.
May require standing or sitting for extended periods of time, occasional light lifting
Capable of working in an ITAR registered facility
Must be able to work any shift and overtime as production schedules require
Anyone who has the following skills would be ideal but will consider any other type of machining experience.
Experience using CNC mills or manual machines
Direct experience with the handling, processing, and cleaning of optical-quality glass substrates and coatings
Experience working with a subjective quality system , especially with optical products
Good written and oral communication skills, ability to read and comprehend work instructions. Must have an excellent work ethic, career minded, solid work history and good references to be considered for this position.
Hours are days but must be available to move to B shift should the company start one.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Excellent LPN opportunity within women’s health office. You'll be assisting in the delivery of health and patient care management. You'll perform accurate and thorough documentation within the medical record. You'll assist with assuring the educational needs of patients are identified and met. Duties: Perform clinical and some clerical duties, provide general nursing care to patients. Obtain and document patient histories, presenting complaint and, as appropriate, obtain height, weight and vital signs. Prepare exam and procedure rooms with necessary testing tools, instruments and supplies. Assist physicians in preparing for exams, physicals and procedures. Maintain and review patients' records to assure thorough documentation is present. Screen phone calls as requested for referral to provider. Maintain files and follow up system for abnormal pap smears. Attend required meetings and participates in "committees" as requested and any other duties under the legal scope of practice of the LPN.
