Job Description:
Immediate opening for an experienced Recruiting Coordinator . This individual will participate in the development of the firm’s global recruiting strategy and will get involved in filling open positions. We are looking for someone who can enhance the firm’s reputation as a first class employer as well as manage the firm’s philosophy of hiring diverse talent.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Develop a multi-faceted applicant sourcing strategy including personal network, staffing agencies, social media and industry association memberships
Work with departments to accurately forecast hiring needs and develop recruiting budgets
Conduct initial interviews of all candidates
Conduct background, credit and reference checks on all new hires
Implement applicant tracking system/resume database
Create employee orientation program
Work with Marketing to promote the firm as a leading employer
Implement a firm wide database of job descriptions
Requirements:
BS/BA with a strong academic background
At least 2 years of previous experience as a recruiter in a corporate setting. Experience in financial services is preferred
Strong computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
The ability to manage deadlines and work in a project driven environment
